We got hit by the May 19th Roll20 outage and had to come up with a way to entertain ourselves without the ability to roll, open sheets, or add maps. Hi, it's little chuck, and welcome back to Chaos Group 2 podcast. Unfortunately, during one of our sessions, we got hit by the roll 20 outage. So suddenly we can't get into our shape. Chaos roll dies. And we decided to talk about Star Wars from the perspective of our characters from two, the original character. So just as a bonus material for whatever took us out of playing this week, I'm gonna let you hear Hazi and Alachi talking about the force, Jedi, Sith, and everything. So there's a kid who's out in the middle of the sand, and he's like, Oh, we need to take the things to uh Kochi Station to get converter things. I don't know. There's a meme about it. But that child goes and ends up with like the dark side coming at him, and there's a whole whole play on things. Star Wars as a whole revolves around this kid's bloodline. This kid secretly, after everything can you find out everything, it's actually really hard because you can't describe it from episode six where it started.

So number four, there's uh the Star Wars universe is essentially a long time in the future, but a massive, like far away.

So what happened is essentially in this universe there is little insect things in the air called Midaclorians. We don't like to talk about them, but they are what essentially makes up the ability to fuck with the world around you. It's the magic system of the world. It's great, it's great. Because you essentially are just using bugs. Yeah, they're insects. That's what midaclorians are. They're just fucking insects.

There's bugs in everybody's blood. But there's bugs in the air, there's bugs in the water, there's bugs all over the place. And certain people have a lot of bugs in them, which means that they're able to manipulate other bugs.

They are the powerhouse of the bugs.

But the whole thing, the story about bugs, and how this one was darn infected with them.

Yeah, but we don't get there yet because there's a whole thing of the bug users, the wizards, sat there and were like, you know what? My bugs mean that I can do crazy things because the bugs do the things. And so they sat there and went, Alright, I'm gonna use these bugs and I'm gonna create a world order that's awesome. And then a bunch of other dudes were like, fuck that. And so they went to war. Now, there's the the dudes that wanted freedom and dis uh freedom and power and essentially empowering your own people are evil. They're they're the evil people, and the people that are good are people that believe, you know, you should never feel anything ever, and that when you use the bugs, you have to be super pure and unable to do anything considered evil, or else you'll become evil.

Yeah, that's not that's not allowed. You're not allowed to like people. As soon when you form attachments, you attach more bugs. And the more bugs that you get, the more literally out of if you look at the like promising section of why we don't like you to have emotions, it's because it upsets the bugs. Oh, and when it upsets the bugs, the bugs react in a weird way where you start becoming evil.

So the bugs decide at one point a child was born with a lot of bugs in them. A ton of bugs. Just the most bugs that ever happened. People had prophecies about this child because they were like, he's their brains were full of bugs. Our brains are filled with bugs, and they gave us visions about the king. And so the bug king was coming, and we knew he was coming. So when he was born, the uh the bugs that were sitting there, and those bugs that had been infected by uh the emotions of the people they were inside were like, we want the bug king to be evil, like the other bugs were like, nah, we want these bugs to be chilled, these bugs need to be completely chilled. Aye. And so they fought over him. They sent someone out to take this kid. Uh, and then there was one dude who was like, hey, maybe the bugs should be like people, and they should have both good and bad. That guy's a fucking idiot.

Now it turns out this child wasn't born normally. He was born from the bugs. The bugs created him. They crew uh they came together. He is a bug man. That's how they knew he was coming, because he was just bugs. Uh, some stuff happened. You had the correlation of this child growing up, uh, bugs, the bugs getting stronger. He started getting afflicted with both the bad and the good of not having sex but wanting sex, and then he gave into hornyness, and the bugs really like sent him on the thing. He fucked uh he fucked a person without bugs. Oh real bad plan. Real bad plan.

Don't don't have any bugs. Uh the bugs get real possessive of hosts that don't have bugs in them. Which made the bug king go a little crazy. And so the bug king decided what we're gonna do is we're gonna sit there and we're going to make sure this uh this human that doesn't have bugs stays alive by trying to use bugs.

Okay. I gotta I gotta make him a bug queen. For a whoa, for a second, because the voice in my my head wanted to verify whether or not he's made of bugs. Like completely just he's bugs, and if you like stick your hand, it'll go like through him because he's just bugs clumped together like what.

I mean, in theory, he's more like human. Okay, but it's all just bugs that melded together and like uh forming an exoskeleton around the ball. Yeah, they're solid. Oh, bug.

Oh, right, okay. So then back to the bug queen.

Yeah, so he wanted to make her the bug queen, so he started falling to like the darkness and emotions and that, and so he went to a guy who here's a little fact about the bad bugs. All the all the bugs that had no nothing to do with like we got rid of sex, we got rid of emotion, we we did it. We we tamed the bugs. We made sure the bugs weren't fucked up. And how we did this was we killed all the non-bug people. Oh! All the all the not non- non-bug people, we killed all the emotional bug people.

Oh and so it came to a point where it was like We killed all the emotional bug people?

Yeah, we killed them all. That's me. So Yeah, yeah, yeah. We killed you. Uh we killed a bunch of you. Then it got to the stage that those bug people decided we don't have enough people to fight this war. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna make sure they don't make it.

No, no, no. What they did was they in fact killed each other because then the two uh they made it so there were only ever two, so that those two could take all the bugs.

They didn't care about having enough people. The real way to win this is to have enough bugs.

Okay. Okay, I got another question. This is gonna seem like it's out of left field or pasture, if you will. But um, there ain't a lot of Jedi on my planet. Um I'm from the Ash Worlds. We got nuked to Oblivion by the huts like a long time ago, you know.

You can't really you can't take the mind of the like the normal bugs when they're born into this world, they just do what they do. They're moving about, they pick some hosts, they go out there, they let you manipulate them. It's what it is. But yeah.

Um Yikes So continuing, the uh the bug king ended up turning to one of the last so the evil bugmen ended up making it so only there would only ever be two of them. That way they could share the bugs and they would be much more powerful. One always got more bugs, and then the other would eventually kill that one to take his bugs and then give it to the successor to give them bugs.

And so he convinced him that he could make uh he could make the human that the bug king had fallen in love with a bug queen by using the healing to heal her and make her immortal and whatever bug queen shit.

Yeah, I'm glad somebody taught the bugs all this, and then uh they ended up fighting Obi-Wan, fucking nailed it, cut him down, put an end to the bug king. But what he didn't realize was you can't cut the bug king and kill the bug king. He's made of bugs. Right. So he was fine. And even though he was in fire, he like burnt up a little bit, but it was just burning a bit of bugs. So they just put him in a suit to contain the bugs so they couldn't all get out. And then that's how Darth Vader was made.

So Darth Vader Yeah, yeah. Darth Vader, one of the two living sit now, alongside the guy that he got taught by the Emperor. Because what happened is that dude turned out to be in a political power. Uh, and then he decided when they were like, You're impeached, he went, You can impeach me. I'm the best, I'm not impeachable. I I am the Senate.

Right. And then they started testing weapons on my homeworld and a bunch of others, because they're telling people our planets are just empty.

Yeah, but the truth was that they were trying to get more bugs.

Yeah, the entire point of the whole like empire was to kill all the Jedi so that the city would be more powerful to get more bugs.

Yep. Sig was my initial apprentice. Uh I had a whole mechanic of how I would work between the two of them. One of them was always gonna end up uh But yeah, freaking um Yeah, it was one of those situations where Ricky was meant to just become alright, I'm gonna take this as an apprentice and I'm gonna sort that again. And it just went to hell. It just went so far to hell that I was like, Yeah. There you go.

The uh problem with Ricky, one of the major problems with Ricky is that if half of your sheet belongs to a hostile DM, there's not a lot you can do because to balance out you having a um a second character, they have to nerf your stats elsewhere, and then that second character can just choose not to help you. Because the person playing them thinks it's funny.

It's hard. It's it's really hard because it's very much, yeah, I kneecapped because straight up it was, oh. And also, the problem is, yeah, they were trying to downgrade my stats when my stats were already downgraded.

And it was like Yeah, it that character was never a full character without the other character. And then it was just a constant thing of the DM going, Cool, your second character's not here. The second part of your sheet is not here. And I'm like, well, I can't do anything without that. Uh-oh.

The second part of your sheet wants to torture this guy to death in front of you, so he's gonna do that, even though it conflicts with your alignment.

Oh, cool! And the way it worked initially was I had Sig and Harsey separated at points. But that was because Sig was the good part of the sheet. Harsey was always like the shit part. And then he gave me Harzy, and I'm like, Harsey should never be alone. I need like the mentee for Harsey to work right. But what do you do? I had some fun moments, like the good old like uh the force will provide.

Even like him driving across the desert, just fucking picking up. I think that's also a favorite moment of mine. Him just like playing 500 miles in the car with a bunch of f ⁇ s ghosts, and then we're like, and there's a random tuscan in there. He just picked up a Tuscan. And I would walk 500 miles.

Oh and all because I got into the thing, and then he's like, and the sand crawler moves at a snail's pace, and I'm like, well, I'm not getting out because I've committed to the bit. Right. So your choice.

So I guess I'm not playing for the next several days of game time, because it takes five days to drive there, and five days to drive back, and RDM's just like, yep, that's fine. We didn't need you.

Well, to get food and then start running. Can you just imagine the world we would have had if Hazi had died and Sig had survived was trying to do that?

Oh what have Team Bash Bros. Team Bash Bros would have been great. And Sig did not understand the fucking force, but he was He was so fun to play because he was just so dumb. And it was just so relieving to Yeah, and I got to do things like one of my favorite moments for Sig was a hundred percent the like the Falcon flies at midnight. That would make much more sense if we should fight Codeways. That was an introduction to Sig, and it was the perfect introduction to what I was about to play.
