After causing a disruption at Sleeka's base, Toujiro and Flamewizardmon are escorted to the underground digimon fighting ring, while Shelbie and Voxmon are led to the VIP area to chat with Sleeka and his partner Lorea. Before Shelbie can get too comfortable, Itande and Falcomon break into the office, and Tactics Team 9 begins their assault...

Hi, it's Little Chomp, and welcome back to the Chaos Crew 2. Last time on Digimon, two members of Team Tactics 9 approached Shelby and Voxmon with an offer. Let them break into the base and take their targets, and they would leave Sleeker for us. Shelby wasn't a huge fan of that and got a bad vibe from both of them, so she tried to hold a team meeting. But this isn't a very focused team, so only one or two people attended, but one of them was on mute on the call, so we couldn't hear anything. Tamanaka didn't think that she should work with Kyo, and then when she met up with Tojiro in the red light district for their partnership, he didn't think so either. So when she called Lena and Lina said, go ahead, give them whatever we need, it was uh rough sell. Um Shelby and Tojiro just decided not to do that. So they made their way to the building that Kame had mentioned. And found a guard standing outside who wanted them to pay him money to let him in. Uh Tojiro was super excited. Shelby got hit on by a creep named Julian, and he and Tojiro went off to fight. Sleaker came out to apologize for the inconvenience and invited her back to the VIP room with him and his partner, and gave her a job offer that if she delivered this Zapatama to the Ministry of Civil Protection, he would give her $10,000. All he needed was her name. She was trying to come up with a fake name as the window broke. And an owl-type Digimon landed on the floor. And in the corner, Tanda Lolo, the same stealthy guy who caught her by surprise at the end of the last one, said that nobody leaves this room. And she should have just taken the deal. That's where we are. Presumably Keo and Sorcerymon are downstairs, so they'll be running into Tojiro and Flame Wiz and Julian and all of the Digimon down there, but who knows? Who knows? Me. I know. So, uh, is that where they are? Is that what's going on? Do you want to just start us with fine? You don't get to know that shit. No, I know. That's fine. I mean, like, the stuff I left out is just emotional beat stuff. Like, I hung up on Tom and Aga and he actually called back and stood up for himself for once. Mm-hmm. Super important. It was great. Alright. Uh, we can start off as we're going to pick back up right where we left off. Yeah. As Lolo sitting on this couch. Uh as this Falcomon has just burst through the window here. Falcomon. As Sleek it stands up looking over as he What the hell is this? You think you can come in here and oh what? Accost me? With a rookie Digimon? Oh, you're not even fucking worth the trouble. We have a champion sitting right there. You really think you're up to our level? As Lolo leans back as he just You wanna know the difference between a good Digimon and a great Digimon? You should pay attention, Shelby. Uh this is important. As he stands up, a good Digimon can turn into a champion, can Digivolve, can fight. A great Digimon has a great tamer. As he holds Isapatama up and throws it in the air, we're gonna roll initiative. Is it because you want a dark digit evolve right off the bat? No. Uh Falcomon has the trait. Perfect timing. Alright. So we're starting off with Falcomon. He's not going to Digivolve. Uh Falcomon is going to. Where is Falcomon? There's Falcomon. Uh Team Tactics is kind of fucked up. Sleeker's going to roll a flight check to try and get out of the way. Uh fails. Ah. He's gonna roll a durability check. So no, that's a failure still. So he takes a minor injury. As he Ah! You stupid Digimon! Why would you even as he's standing there? A smile just hits across Falcumon's face. As Itandololo has. I believe he has this one. Yeah. Once more. Okay. He's gonna spend three tokens and Falcomon's gonna make another attack on Sleeker. Oh damn. Uh they are also moving not to like subdue. They're looking to kill. Oh. That is more than ten. That is three miners. Sleeker takes two major injuries already, slamming against the wall as he what the f you stupid Digimon. Uh Shelby, you are up. Right. Um okay. I think I don't know what the battlefield is going to look like. I think I'm going to give Whisby my plus three bonus this round because I probably need him to succeed on whatever he's about to need to do. True. Um. I don't think I want to move. Uh I'm I'm going to stand up. I'm not just going to sit on the couch like this is no big deal. But I'm not like flipping the table to make cover or anything, because I really don't think that's I don't think that's gonna matter, and I don't think it's gonna um send the right message or anything. Sure. Um so yeah, I don't think I wanna say anything yet because I don't know who's gonna be standing at the end of this fight. And I don't want to activate data burst yet because I don't know how many how many people are gonna be fighting. So I think we're just giving him a speed plus three and waiting to see what things look like at the bottom of the turn order. Alright. Uh perfect. In that turn, uh in that turn, it is Itander Lolo's turn. He's gonna rush round as he jumps forth. He is going to spend two to analyze. Uh spend one token learn an enemy strongness and weakest stats. Okay. Spend three tokens for one bonus effect, which he will spend to spot weakness and gain the plus three to attacks. Okay. Uh he's going to then. Who is he doing this on? On you. Me personally? Wispy specifically. Okay. Yep. So just for the people listening, um, Wispy's strongest stat is durability with 1d20 plus 1d4 plus 6. His weakest stat is Braun with a D6. Um there anything else that I need to say for the audience's benefit? Nope. That's fine. Uh, then Falcomon's gonna get plus three to attacks from now. Okay. Uh just against Wispy or against everyone? Because I'm just against Wispy. Okay. I was gonna say, I don't think it makes sense for him to get plus three against Sleeker from analysing Wispy, but sure. It doesn't matter because he's also going to use his tamer roll. Yeah. And from this point, uh all his partners' role until the next turn are boosted by six. So nine. Uh yeah, nine against Wispy. Yeah. Okay. Alright. Uh Loria is going to do a thing, and this is where you see that Loria in this moment moves as all of a sudden her skin just starts unwrapping. As almost similar to Wispy in the form of strings. That a Digimon. Oh, okay. You would see this Digimon burst forth. From her. Okay, so she is a Digimon. Yes. See, I told you! I told you! If Digimon looked too humanoid, there's always somebody who's weird about it. Yep. Uh uh Kokeshimon is going to charge in at Falcomon. Uh and she is going to do a signature spirit wood dance. Uh battlefield charm. Uh, which she uses charm to attack using her spirit wood dance. Okay. Uh pretty good. 23. Uh, which Falcomon will then roll against. He gets he's gonna do a flight. He has a plus six. 31. As this thing comes forth to hit him, Falcomon is just so quick that it darts around it. Uh doing nothing. Uh there's no L'Oreal Lane. Okay, Shimon. Alright, Sleeker is up. Yeah. Uh Sleeker in this instance uh runs. He runs out the door. Uh five, ten, twenty-five, thirty. He will also use double movement. Cause his goal is to get downstairs. Thirty wispy is up. Um Because I didn't move, this is the only reason that I'm asking. If I wanted to try to use my movement from this round to chase him, can I do that? Or no, it's not your turn, Shelby. That's not bad, but Lolo, I believe, has uh well he's gonna use once more again. Because he can. He has a fair few tokens left over. He's allowed to do that not on his turn. Uh this one's definitely uh, yeah. Okay. Uh heal once more. That plus six. 28. She's gonna roll a durability. That one's gonna take some damage. That's gonna be three miners. Uh, perfect. Uh-huh. Glancing shot literally means whenever he misses by less than five, uh, still does the damage. Still does minor. I was like, well, that's not too bad. And then I was like, no, the health of this system, that's actually significant. One minor matters. Uh well, that means that Kokeshimon has already taken two minor wounds. Oh, two major wounds. Sorry. Uh that's Kokeshimon looks pretty bad. Uh Falcomon will move round here to block off just in case. Uh but Shelby, you are up. To block it off for who knows? Okay. There's no escape for Kokeshimon. Oh. This is hard, man. I didn't expect to be thoroughly outclassed, just outnumbered. But at the same time, if Tactics Team 9 wasn't actually good, that would not be the best. Alright. Um. Databurst is gonna affect Kokeshimon shoo, right? Depends. See, the problem with the thing is you've got like the oh yes, his uh his signature is doing these heat things. Signature should be a little more like You wrote this. Yeah, I know. And you gave me like control of them, which is fine. But when we are fighting Numa Mon X, I can't force him to hurt himself, and I can't force him to go into environmental hazards. So unless I have a teammate, all I'm doing is stalling and hurting myself. Because you sort of need another signature. I really do. Alright. I'm just checking because there is a situation here where he can avoid. Um is he gonna burn it? Yeah, he's gonna burn it. He's gonna uh use his magic reflect. Uh reflects incoming magic light through a prism. This is a attachment skill. It doesn't exactly say what it is. The attachment skills need to be updated so they have the actual thing. But essentially what this does is he can use this once per combat, and when he would take damage, he reflects it. He essentially doesn't take damage. So, like reflects it back at me or just deflects it away from him? It reflects it back at you. I need you to make me a check versus your grit. This is a very good attachment skill. Yeah. Very rare. 15. 15, you manage to dodge out of the way of your own thing as it comes back on you. I'm gonna ladder that just because I'm only one away. Perfect. Yeah, a bit of a dodge. Um, but you now see that he was willing to do that. Weird. Weird that he was willing to do that. He's only taken one hit so far. It was a big hit, but one hit. So can we I guess basically level up the um the fire wisps that he has in his rookie stage, except they're like black flame now. And they shoot out and bite or something. I mean, sure. He is probably gonna hit almost every turn. Yeah, so we're not wasting the tokens on that. We're gonna focus on the ability. The joys of an experienced timer. It's totally fine. We're gonna focus on the abilities that we use this turn. Um. I think Wispy still holds his ground, because who knows? I'm not running, he's not running. So that's our turn.
